Small Meetings & Groups
FOOD: The Lodge at The Old Dorm specializes in hosting small Vancouver meetings, executive conferences and corporate retreats for groups of 8 to 24 delegates creatively catering breakfast, lunch and three to four course dinners. Your host, Dan Parkin and his team are very conscious about the quality of food and attention to dietary constraints preparing most everything from scratch with organic ingredients.
MEETING SPACE: The main floor living room area serves as a very effective and casual meeting area with the adjacent dining area providing traditional table and chair meeting space. For groups wishing a larger meeting space, our partner next door, Evergreen Hall, can easily accommodate meetings in a traditional meeting set-up.
ACCOMMODATION: The Lodge hosts 12 to 14 delegates on the premises, while additional accommodation arrangements in neighbouring B&B's are made for larger groups. Guests are quite intrigued with these off-site accommodations and yet still enjoy the full benefit of meetings and meals at the lodge with their retreat group.
Evergreen Hall Meeting Space
"Innovative thinking is best undertaken in an environment that sparks imagination and fosters important work.
The Lodge at the Old Dorm is just such a place.
We have used the Lodge many times in the past six years, for research meetings, strategic planning meetings, judicial roundtables, book launches and international workshops, drawing together a wide diversity of scholars, scientists, judges and business people globally to this beautiful setting.
